Free Kaplan Test Prep

AMNH is able to provide the following Kaplan Test Preps for free to AMNH SRMP students. You can enroll in one free test prep of your choice:

1. Live Online SAT prep course
2. Self-Paced ACT prep course - this is not being offered currently, but if you’re interested, please email Crystal Schneider at cschneider@amnh.org to explore possible alternatives

How to Choose a Kaplan Test Prep

1. Before you choose which Kaplan Test Prep to enroll in, you must first determine which test you are taking.

2. Once you know which test you are taking (SAT vs. ACT), visit the links below to choose your test date. Remember, you want to have time to finish the Kaplan Test Prep before the test date.

3. Once you have chosen your test date, you must choose a Kaplan Test Prep that fits your schedule and ends right before your test date. Kaplan Test Preps are only being offered online at this time.
   
4. Use the instructions below to find a class that fits your schedule. We are not able to offer SAT PLUS courses for free at this time.

How to Register for a Kaplan Course 

1. Now that you have chosen your test date and decided which Kaplan Test Prep to take, you must submit your request using this Google form: http://bit.ly/AMNHKaplanForm
   1. If taking an SAT prep, you will need the class code (a 9 or 10-digit code, like SALKV20146), the location of the class (e.g. online), and the date that the class starts.
2. Enter your information in all of the required fields and click “Submit”. This doesn’t mean you are registered for the course yet!
3. You must submit your course request at least 3 weeks prior to the course start date. 
4. In approximately 1 week, you will receive an email from Crystal Schneider at cschneider@amnh.org. 
   1. If you are registering for an SAT prep, she will send you a unique promo code to register yourself for the selected course. You must register yourself for the course on Kaplan’s website using the unique promo code.
   2. Kaplan will then mail course materials to the home address provided.
